Editing a Care Pathway (Workflow) using the aTouchAway Dashboards

This guide shows how to use the aTouchAway Dashboards to edit a Care Pathway (Workflow).

A Care Pathway (Workflow) can also be edited using the aTouchAway App.  For instructions on how to do this, go to Editing a Care Pathway (Workflow) using the aTouchAway App.

To edit a Workflow from the Dashboards, you will need to access the Patient Overview. Use one of the following methods to access this page.  Your access may depend on your organization, your role, or your permissions.

1. Use Health Overview

On the Dashboards under Live Monitoring, click Health Overview.    

Find the patient for whom you would like to edit the Workflow.  You can use the search bar or filters to assist in locating a specific patient. Click on the patient's name to access the Patient Overview.  

2. Use Creation / Token

On the Dashboards under User Management, click Creation/Token.

Find the patient for whom you would like to edit the Workflow.  You can use the search bar or filters to assist in locating a specific patient. Click on the eye icon to the right of the patient's name to access the Patient Overview.

3. Use Patients

On the Dashboard under User Management, click Patients.

Find the patient for whom you would like to edit the Workflow.  You can use the search bar or filters to assist in locating a specific patient. Click on the 3-dot menu to the right of the patient's name.  Click User Overview to access the Patient Overview.


On the Patient Overview page, select the Workflow tab.  Under Ongoing Workflows, find the name of the Workflow that you want to edit.  Click the name.

Click Edit Workflow.

Edit the information as needed.

Click Save to update the workflow.  

If the Care Pathway (Workflow) was launched in demo mode, demo mode cannot be disabled by editing the Care Pathway.  You must stop the workflow and create a new workflow, as needed.  See the following articles for instructions on stopping a workflow:
