# Stopping a Care Pathway using the aTouchAway® Dashboards

## This guide shows how to use the aTouchAway® Dashboards to stop a Care Pathway.

A Care Pathway can also be stopped using the aTouchAway® App.  For instructions on how to do this, go to [Stopping a Care Pathway using the aTouchAway® App](https://info.aetonix.com/stopping-a-care-pathway-workflow-using-the-atouchaway-app?hsLang=en).

To stop a Pathway from the Dashboards, you will need to access the **Patient Overview**. Use one of the following methods to access this page.  Your access may depend on your organization, your role, or your permissions.

#### 1. Use **Health Overview**

On the Dashboards under **Live Monitoring,** click ***Health Overview*.**

Find the patient for whom you would like to stop the Pathway.  You can use the filters and / or the search bar (search by patient number or health card number) to assist in locating a specific patient. Click on the patient's name to access the **Patient Overview**.

#### 2. Use Creation / Token

On the Dashboards under **Patient Management**, click ***Creation/Token***.

Find the patient for whom you would like to stop the Pathway.  You can use the filters and / or the search bar (search by patient number or health card number) to assist in locating a specific patient. Click on the *eye* icon to the right of the patient's name to access the **Patient Overview**.

#### 3. Use Patients

On the Dashboard under **Patient Management**, click ***Patients***.

Find the patient for whom you would like to stop the Pathway.  You can use the filters and / or the search bar (search by patient number or health card number) to assist in locating a specific patient. Click the ***3 dots*** to the right of the patient's name.  On the **3-dot menu**, click ***Patient Overview*** to access the **Patient Overview**.

On the **Patient Overview** page, select the **Pathway tab**.  Under Ongoing Pathways, find the name of the Pathway that you want to stop.  Click ***the pathway's name***.

Click ***Stop Pathway***.

On the confirmation window, click ***Yes, stop this pathway***.  If you do not want to stop the pathway, click No, keep the pathway running.
