How do I turn off the screen reader feature on my locked aTouchAway™ tablet?
The screen reader feature on your Android device is an accessibility feature that can be turned off.
TalkBack Feature
The TalkBack screen reader speaks text and image content on your screen. On your Android device, you can turn this setting on or off.
Turn TalkBack off with the volume key shortcut
On the locked tablet, you can use the volume key shortcut to turn TalkBack off using the steps below.
- Find both volume keys on the side of your device.
- Press and hold both volume keys for 3 seconds.
You should stop hearing the screen reader now.
