A guide for setting Patient Group permissions in the aTouchAway Dashboards
To set Patient Group permissions, on the aTouchAway Dashboards under Group Management, click Patient Groups.
On the Patient Groups page, click the permissions (cog) icon to open the Permissions window.
Permissions can be selected or unselected individually or can be set using the SET ALL PERMISSIONS link at the top of each section. Those with drop-down menus will have variable levels of permission.
The page is broken into 2 sections, Aetonix Permissions and Forms Permissions.
Changes made to the options under Aetonix Permissions will change what appears on the Patient Group Manager's aTouchAway App when they are looking at the profile page of a patient in the Patient Group.
For example, if the checkbox to the right of Reminders is not checked, the Reminder button will not appear on the aTouchAway App for any patients in this Patient Group.
Changes made to the options under Forms Permissions will change which forms appear on the Patient Manager's aTouchAway App when they are looking at the profile page of a patient in the Patient Group.
The settings can be changed to disable access to the form, set a read-only option or allow the creation of a new submission and / or the editing of a current submission. The options may vary by the type of form.
Once the permissions are as you would like them, click Submit to save them.
These permissions will apply to all patients in the Patient Group.
Any changes to the permissions will affect all patients in the Patient Group.
Locked Patient Groups
If a Patient Group appears on the Patient Groups page with a lock icon to the right of its name, only a Care Team member with Org Manager-level permissions can make any changes to the permissions and Patient Group Managers.
Care Team members with Staff-level permissions cannot make any changes to the permissions and Patient Groups Managers in a locked Patient Group.
Care Team members with Staff-level permissions can review the permissions for a Patient Group by clicking the permissions (cog) icon. On the Permissions window, the options will be grey and unalterable.
