How to reset your aTouchAway® App if it is not responding. (iPhone and iPad)

If you have downloaded and installed the aTouchAway® App on your Apple device (iPhone, iPad) and it does not open or does not respond, try the steps below to troubleshoot and fix the issue.

Ensure your device is compatible with the aTouchAway® App

The list of compatible systems is available here. If your device is not compatible, you may still be able to use the aTouchAway® Web App by going to https://app.aetonix.com/

Force quit the aTouchAway® App

Review the aTouchAway® settings on your device 

From the home screen on your device, go to Settings (the gear icon), scroll down to locate aTouchAway®, and tap on it. This should display all access granted to aTouchAway® on installation. Check the following:
  • Ensure Cellular Data is enabled if you are using a mobile network instead of Wi-Fi
  • Enable the Microphone and Camera if you are having problems with a call in the aTouchAway® App.
    • This may not appear if you've never used the microphone or camera on your device for this aTouchAway® App.

Make sure your device is updated to the latest version of the iOS

Reinstall the aTouchAway® App

Start by deleting the aTouchAway® App. Then re-download the aTouchAway® App by going to https://aetonix.com/download/ and clicking on the Download button for your system.
